Year 12 students make a difference for families

 Year 12 students at Karabar High School have capped off their final year of school with an extraordinary act of generosity, raising more than $3,200 in cash and donating a large collection of toys and wellbeing items to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Canberra.

A tiny fighter, a big heart, and a home away from home

Born fighting for her life, Halle spent her first months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). During that time, she endured multiple blood transfusions, countless tests, weeks on breathing support, and treatment for a hole in her heart. Through it all, mum Kim faced her own serious health concerns, and a world of uncertainty. But

The Ronald McDonald Family Room gave Raimond and Kate strength when they needed it most. Every day, families walk through hospital doors facing uncertainty and fear. With your help, they can also find strength, comfort, and care.
